Mock Crash 2024 🚓🚑🚒 With the help of many outside organizations, this is the third mock crash since 2013. The crash was attended by RCHS students to show them what happens when accidents occur. During the demonstration, former Driver's Education instructor Mrs. VanDyke gave students a play-by-play over a microphone discussing an array of things such as the drivers' and passengers' conditions, who was arriving on scene, graduated driver's licenses, and more. Thank you to Olney Police Department, Richland County Sheriff's Department, Illinois State Police, Sue Travous and the Carle RMH Ambulance Service, Carle Life Flight, Olney Fire Department, Kistler-Patterson Funeral Homes, Austin Woods and Woods Autobody, Jon Wright, SRO Ameter, Mrs. VanDyke, and of course our volunteers — students Gavyn Cothern, Ryan Kirby, Carsyn Ameter and RCHS graduate Jorri VanDyke. Everyone be safe and have fun tonight at PROM! P.lease R.eturn O.n M.onday

Olney Tiger Boys & Girls Track had a great showing at the LIC Conference Meet in Newton on Wednesday, May 1. Tiger Track came away as the conference champs while Lady Tiger Track finished third. Wins and PRs were accomplished by both teams. In addition to practice, teamwork like this comes from camaraderie. Prior to the meet, both track teams enjoyed a luncheon put on by the coaches and generous parents. This is the One Tiger Nation culture! Congratulations athletes and best wishes at sectionals!
