​Three Richland County High School seniors were selected as WSIU Top Teens for the 2023-2024 school year. Those selected were Trenton Payne, Colby Redman, and Isabella Trupiano. "WSIU's "Top Teens" are chosen by their respective schools throughout the region. The area students excel academically and in a variety of co-curricular activities. Lady Tiger Volleyball senior Aliyah Tracy has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Kaskaskia College next school year. Tracy had standout moments during her senior season. She was selected to both the Olney Tiger Classic and Triad Invitational all-tournament teams. Additionally, she made the Little Illini Conference All-Conference 1st Team. Tracy was also recognized by the Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association as a 2023 Academic Girls All-State recipient. She also holds the career kill record with 632 kills. Congratulations Aliyah on all your hard work over the years! Best of luck at Kaskaskia!

It has been a while due to the pandemic but the exchange program with Germany is back! Any sophomore or junior who is interested in a two week exchange with Gars Germany this June needs to meet in the Commons this Thursday, December 7 during OTE. The plan is to take students to Germany in June and then host students from Germany in the fall of next school year. This is a great opportunity to see the world and meet some new friends. Next Thursday, December 14, there will be a parent informational meeting in the Commons at 5:30pm. Please see Mr. Van Dyke if you have any questions.
